A Movement Fueled by the People–Not the Billionaires
Over the past week, we witnessed a powerful surge of people power across Arizona, the nation, and the world. From Phoenix to Sedona, Tucson to Mesa, and nearly every city in between, Arizonans showed up—by the thousands—to demand accountability and justice.
They were not alone.
📍 Over 1,200 protests erupted nationwide
🌍 Countless more around the world
All under the banner of the 50501 Movement, with support from partners like Indivisible and countless grassroots coalitions.
🔥 Protesters came together to say:
“We will not stand by as billionaires like Donald Trump and Elon Musk rewrite our democracy to serve the oligarchs.”
We rallied against:
- Trump’s authoritarian power grabs and racist immigration enforcement
- The erosion of human rights and democratic norms
- The exploitation of working families while the ultra-wealthy get richer
- Corporate control over our economy, housing, education, and even free speech
This is class warfare, plain and simple. And the people are fighting back.
This is what democracy looks like—not backroom deals and billionaire CEOs pulling strings, but everyday people marching in the streets, standing shoulder to shoulder, and refusing to be silenced.
